Meet the Price Richards team

Previously doing business as Richards Commercial Properties, David Richards is now a principal of Price-Richards Realty, LLC, and owner of three real estate companies in Virginia and North Carolina.

David's experience includes brokerage of land, shopping centers, office buildings, mixed-use development, industrial space, and multifamily development. He has represented tenant clients in the procurement of office space, as well as retail, restaurant, and warehouse space, and has represented landlords in the leasing of office, retail, restaurant, and warehouse space.

David also represents buyers as well as sellers in every category of commercial property including office, retail, medical, restaurant, warehouse, manufacturing, multifamily, residential, and mixed-use development.

Jeff Price has over 35 years of experience in the construction and real estate development industry. Jeff received his B.S. in Management and Finance from Radford University in 1985. After graduation, he co-founded Price-Williams Realty in Radford, Virginia which specializes in building and development.

Mr. Price has served on many boards and held notable positions including being former past President of the New River Valley Homebuilders Association in 1996, past Chairman of Radford University's College of Business and Economics Advisory Board and has served since 1997, Director of the City of Radford's Industrial Development Authority from 1998-2018, and a past member of First Bank of Virginia Advisory Board.

Jeff has also received multiple awards including Business Person of the Year for the City of Radford in 2010, Outstanding Alumnus of the Year for Radford University's College of Business & Economics in 2014, National Homebuilders Association Commercial Design Excellence Award, and the Presidential Award for Outstanding Service to the New River Valley Association of Realtors in 2004.

Over the years, Jeff Price has had a vision for commercial development in the New River Valley and has enjoyed seeing his quality projects add value to the community.

Tyler Price is a part of 3 generations of Real Estate in the New River Valley. Tyler became a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in Virginia in 2016 and received his education at High Point University in North Carolina where he received his B.S. in Business Administration and minored in Sales in 2018.

After graduation, he moved back to the New River Valley where he worked as a Leasing Specialist in residential and commercial real estate. With an established background in customer service and real estate, Price is confident in his knowledge of the markets in the New River Valley and surrounding areas.

Tyler is now a member of the Price-Richards team and takes great pride in serving his clients with competent and quality service.

A lifelong Southwest Virginian, Dave Prater brings deep local knowledge and a practical, personal approach to every real estate conversation. He works with buyers, sellers, and landowners across the region, helping clients move forward with clear information and dependable follow-through.

Dave has completed more than 105 transactions and understands the value of staying involved after the paperwork is signed. From coordinating inspections and repairs to connecting clients with trusted local professionals, he makes sure people have the help they need throughout the process.
